About Solar Plan

Solar Plan makes clean, affordable energy accessible to all households. With our unique solar subscription model, customers stop paying high energy bills immediately, start saving money from day one and retain the freedom to decide about ownership later.

As our model gains traction and others begin echoing our language, one thing is clear: Solar Plan is setting the direction for fair, accessible energy on Aruba.

About You

Do you want to be on the frontline of the energy transition on Aruba, working directly with families, installers and partners to make clean energy work in real life?

Solar Plan is looking for a Country Manager Aruba, a hands-on, people-focused entrepreneur who takes ownership of local execution and represents Solar Plan on the ground. You will be the face of Solar Plan in Aruba, combining customer interaction, operational oversight and local leadership.

Job description

As Country Manager Aruba you are end-responsible for day-to-day operations. You oversee a smooth, end-to-end customer experience through transparency, strong organisation and reliability, from first encounter to installation and ongoing service, in close coordination with our international service hubs.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the primary local representative of Solar Plan in Aruba.

• Visit customers on-site, explain the Solar Plan model in depth and translate it into clear monthly savings.

• Perform site inspections, take photos and document customer requirements.

• Prepare and issue customer proposals in coordination with our HQ in England.

• Oversee local installation activities and coordinate with Solar Field Technicians.

• Ensure accurate CRM records and smooth handovers between care, sales and operations.

• Maintain relationships with local suppliers, partners and stakeholders.

• Identify local improvements and support the scaling of local capacity.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in operations, account management or a hands-on leadership role.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for outcomes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working directly with customers.

  • Practical mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Affinity with technical environments (solar / energy experience is a plus, not a must).

  • Organised and digitally comfortable. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.

  • Fluent in Papiamento and English. Spanish is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license.

What we offer

  • Gross monthly salary AWG 5.500 - AWG 7.500, based on experience.

  • Opportunity to operate entrepreneurially within a solid corporate structure.

  • Real-life flexibility that supports work-life balance (e.g. school drop-off and pick-up) within a structured workday.

  • A safe and respectful workplace built on ethics and transparency.

  • Comprehensive training and onboarding.

  • Direct reporting line to our COO, with a dotted line to our CEO.

  • Annual Solar Plan staff party (worth it, we promise!).

  • End-of-year bonus.

  • 18 days of paid vacation, with the possibility to earn up to 5 days extra.
